Virtual piano MIDI player which includes a visual representation of the piano keyboard in either 2D or 3D display.
MIDITrail is a freeware MIDI player app and music tool, developed by Wada Masashi for Windows.
The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC and a list of features has been compiled; see below.
A graphical piano visualizer for playing back MIDI files
MIDITrail is a MIDI player which provides 3D visualization of MIDI datasets. You can enjoy not only listening but also viewing. MIDITrail supports SMF format 0/1, and multiple MIDI ports.
Depending on computer specs, the notes may not show up if you load a certain MIDI with a whole bunch of notes beyond your computer's limits.
MIDITrail uses up graphics memory, as well as primitives and vertexes in your graphics card. Not recommended for standard computers as it will crash and skyrockets RAM usage upon loading the MIDI.
